Our next meeting will be held on February 22nd, 2025, at the Wingate by Wyndham San Marcos, located at 108 IH 35 North, San Marcos, TX 78666. A block of 10 rooms has been reserved for our members at $110 per night (plus tax) for February 21st and 22nd. The cut off date for booking at this rate is January 22nd. Please call the hotel directly (512-754-6621) and let the reservation person know you are booking with the PCA group.
This meeting will have a different format than our usual. Our president Allen Boyd has arranged for us to see a demonstration at Wimberley Glassworks located at 6469 Ranch Rd 12, San Marcos, TX 78666, starting at 10:30am Saturday morning. They have a large glass blowing studio, a gallery and gift shop.
After the demonstrations, we will have lunch and travel back to the hotel for the business meeting.
Please bring items for Show and Tell and feel free to bring a door prize. We were thinking of holding a silent auction but, as this will be a short meeting, we will have a Member Trade session instead. Any member wanting to sell any paperweights can bring them and sell to other members.
All interested parties are welcome and encouraged to join us at the meeting!
The Friday night dinner will be at Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant, 403 South LBJ Dr., San Marcos, TX 78666, at 5:30 PM. They have a room that will accommodate 20 people. All newcomers are invited and welcomed!
The Saturday night dinner will be at Grins Restaurant, 802 North LBJ Dr., San Marcos, TX 78666, at 5:30 PM. This will be open seating with 5 to 6 people per table. All newcomers are invited and welcomed!
